Charleston County Offers Virtual Workshop to Tackle Environmental Challenges

Charleston County’s Resilience and Sustainability staff are offering a virtual community workshop for residents to learn more about the County’s path towards a more sustainable and resilient future.
The community input session will be held Tuesday, October 10th at 6 pm via Zoom. Registration is required. Residents will be able to participate and ask questions during the session through the chat feature.
Community feedback is a vital part of the County’s plans to tackle environmental challenges like rising temperatures, flooding, and reducing carbon emissions. In 2021, Charleston County Council voted to adopt a Climate Action Resolution which encourages the creation and implementation of a community-based integrated Climate Action Plan.
