Traffic Alert: Nighttime Lane closures for Glenn McConnell Parkway Paving

Beginning Thursday, October 5th, Construction crews will close eastbound or westbound travel lanes and select left turn lanes on Glenn McConnell Parkway from Magwood Drive to Bees Ferry Road. Lanes will close tonight then again Sunday night through next Thursday.

Details:

• Closures will take place from 7 pm to 6 am
• Traffic will be rerouted as needed.
• Residents should expect to see traffic control signs, message boards, and reduced speed limits.
• All work is weather dependent.
• Drivers are asked to use caution while driving through the construction area.

The Glenn McConnell Parkway Widening Project includes improvements along an approximately 2.1 mile section of Glenn McConnell Parkway starting near Magwood Drive to the intersection with Bees Ferry Road.
