Flying Biscuit Café invites the public to celebrate International Chicken & Waffles Day with them on October 20th.
Marking its 30th anniversary this month, the Southern-inspired restaurant chain has over 30 locations across the Southeast, including restaurant in Mt. Pleasant (794 Coleman Blvd) and West Ashley (2245 Ashley Crossing Drive, Unit 16).
Flying Biscuit’s menu includes these six chicken & waffle variations (with descriptions provided by the restaurant):
- Classic Chicken & Waffle – house-made golden waffle topped with crispy buttermilk chicken tenders
- Hot Chicken & Waffle – kick the heat up a notch with hot and spicy chicken tenders
- Dirty Bird – includes the classic house-made golden waffle, topped with crispy buttermilk chicken tenders, two over medium eggs, and creamy chicken sausage gravy
- Hot Dirty Bird – substitute for the hot chicken tenders to take the Dirty Bird to the next level!
- Honey Butter Chicken Waffle – the Flying Biscuit has truly outdone themselves with the Honey Butter Chicken Waffle. The sweet and buttery dish is guaranteed to satisfy
- Hot Honey Butter Chicken Waffle – combine sweet and spicy with HOT honey butter chicken tenders on the classic waffle
