Traffic Alert: Nighttime Lane Closures for Glenn McConnell Parkway Paving

Lane closures will begin Sunday, October 15th starting at 7 pm on Glenn McConnell Parkway.

Details:

• Paving work is scheduled from Sunday, October 15 through Thursday, October 19 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
• Operations will occur in eastbound and westbound travel lanes and select left turn lanes on Glenn McConnell Parkway from Bees Ferry Road to Magwood Drive.
• Traffic will be rerouted as needed.
• Residents should expect to see traffic control signs, message boards, and reduced speed limits.
• All work is weather dependent.
• Drivers are asked to use caution while driving through the construction area.

The Glenn McConnell Parkway Widening Project includes improvements along an approximately 2.1 mile section of Glenn McConnell Parkway starting near Magwood Drive to the intersection with Bees Ferry Road.
