Soundwave Comics Announces Free Halloween Event on October 21st

Soundwave Comics announced a free Halloween themed event, SOUNDWAVE’S MONSTER MASH, taking place on Saturday, October 21st in Summerville (1448 Boone Hill Rd.). The event runs from 11 am to 7 pm.

This family-friendly, all ages event includes:

• Guest of Honor Chuck Brown – an Eisner and Ringo Award winning writer based out of Columbia. He has written for major comics publishers like Marvel, DC, and Image Comics, and more. He is the co-creator of the comic book, Bitter Root, which has been optioned for feature film development by Legendary Entertainment with Marvel’s Black Panther director Ryan Coogler as producer.
• Local artists and creators – Kelly Ochocki, Shawn Harding, and Wallace McBride. They will be in attendance selling their works and taking commissions
• The event will feature 5 free Halloween themed comics per family (First come, first served while supplies last)
• Soundwave will have a huge in-store sale on comic books, Funko pops, CDs, DVDs, vinyl records, and more
• Food truck available from 11 am to 3 pm on the day of the event
• Pictures will be taken throughout the day with a costume contest with prizes at 6 pm
