Planned Parenthood Endorses Deon Tedder for South Carolina State Senate
Planned Parenthood South Atlantic, the political arm of Planned Parenthood, announced its endorsement of Deon Tedder for South Carolina State Senate in District 42.
In a social media endorsement statement, Planned Parenthood South Atlantic said, “Rep. Tedder is the champion we need to protect sexual and reproductive health care in South Carolina!”
Tedder has been a strong advocate for reproductive rights throughout his time in the state house. He has been a vocal opponent of extremist anti-abortion measures that have been introduced in the South Carolina legislature.
“I am honored to receive an endorsement from Planned Parenthood South Atlantic,” said Tedder. “Reproductive rights are fundamental human rights, and I am committed to protecting them for all South Carolinians. In the senate I will fight against any attempts to restrict access to abortion or other essential reproductive healthcare services.”
