Redux Appoints New Executive Director

The Redux Board of Directors today released the following statement:

“Following an extensive search, the Board of Directors of Redux Contemporary Art Center is excited to announce that Allan Bunch has been selected as the organization’s new executive director. Allan will begin November 1st, 2023. Interim executive director Maggie Jordan, will resume her position as Redux’s Exhibition and Studio Director when Allan takes the helm.

Allan has a track record of stewarding organizations through tremendous growth by utilizing his strong skills in non-profit management and development. Most recently he served as the Development and Stewardship Officer at the Coastal Community Foundation. He is a successful team leader and committed non-profit worker who is passionate about cultivating relationships within the community. Allan is looking forward to getting to know the extended Redux family as he dives into developing the organization’s existing programs, continuing the facilitation of The Bridge to the Future Campaign, and providing the community new and exciting opportunities to engage with Redux and our mission.

The search for Redux’s next Executive Director attracted a large number of applicants from across the country and the region. The Board of Directors’ Search Committee, along with consultant Allegory Art Consulting, evaluated numerous strong candidates, though all agreed that Allan stood out among the group as the best fit for the role. His tireless commitment to non-profit development and fundraising work, in tandem with his personal passion for the arts, makes him the ideal candidate to lead Redux into its next chapter. We are thrilled to announce Allan as our new Executive Director and are excited to work closely with him as we continue to grow Redux’s programming, outreach and artist community”
