Dogtopia of Summerville to Host a Grand Opening Celebration on November 18th
Press Release
Dogtopia of Summerville officially opened their doors at 619 Myers Rd in Summerville last month, and they are excited to be hosting a Grand Opening celebration to raise money for the Dogtopia Foundation on Saturday, November 18, from 11am to 2pm. This event will include food from the Eggs Up Grill food truck and Lean Kitchen, vendors from the pet industry, including Active Canine (Dog Trainers), Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming, local rescue Dorchester Paws, beer and wine, and more. Dog owners are encouraged to bring their dogs to the daycare on the day of the grand opening, and if it is their first time at Dogtopia of Summerville, please book a meet-and-greet appointment for that day to tour the facility and learn more. In addition to the Grand Opening Celebration, Dogtopia will have its official ribbon cutting with the Town of Summerville on Tuesday, November 14th at 1pm. “We are so excited to be a part of the Summerville community. Our first few weeks have been insanely busy but so much fun. We have really enjoyed getting to know our neighbors and look forward to seeing everyone out on the 18th to celebrate with us,” says owner Jackie Cotone.
As the leading dog daycare, boarding, and spa services provider, Dogtopia emphasizes the importance of socialization, exercise, and education for all furry friends. Operating with a safety-first focus, Dogtopia ensures dogs are placed in rooms with pups of similar size, play style, and temperament and monitored by a professionally trained staff of Canine Coaches. All playrooms are climate-controlled and have rubber flooring to protect dogs’ paws and joints. In addition to its daycare and boarding options, Dogtopia also provides spa services from experienced professionals.
The Dogtopia Foundation, the company’s charitable arm, is proud to support the training of service dogs for veterans who have returned home with physical and emotional challenges. The training for service dogs for veterans can cost upwards of $30,000. Dogtopia and the Dogtopia Foundation are committed to providing monetary support for veterans and their families who greatly benefit from these service animals. The cost of the animals, coupled with the great need for service dogs in the community, has encouraged Dogtopia and the Dogtopia Foundation to take action to support those who have supported this country.
