Affordable Housing Gap Financing Available

Charleston County Community Development and Revitalization has opened phase II of the Gap/Infill Financing program. For-profit and non-profit organizations can apply for up to one million dollars in grants and revolving loans to develop affordable rental and for-sale housing.

Applications are available online. The deadline to apply is December 1, 2023, at 5 p.m. All projects funded must achieve financial closing by September 30, 2024, and agree to a minimum 30-year affordability period to be detailed in the grant agreement.
