The Scrapple Sandwich from Two Boroughs Larder was ready for its close-up and Details obliged.

The offering made it onto the magazine’s list of “Sandwiches to Savor.” The publication mentions that Joshua Keeler’s creation includes scrapple made from heirloom pigs, local eggs, and aged cheddar.

Foodmancing the Girl, a local blogger, told me the the dish is the “kind of breakfast sandwich that makes you want to head to the field for an honest days work….with a crisp pork paté that enters a realm of lustiness when the egg yolk breaks, seeping into the scrapple. Simple food, expertly executed.”
