High Cotton Honored for Philanthropic Work

Downtown restaurant High Cotton was the state winner of the 2013 Restaurant Neighbor Award from the National Restaurant Association. The award recognizes restaurants that exhibit the best philanthropic work.

A press release provided by High Cotton says the establishment donates to the Neighborhood House of Charleston, the Lowcountry Food Bank, and Communities in Schools of Charleston. Plus, General Manager Jill Maynard created a scholarship at the Culinary Institute of Charleston at Trident Technical College.
