Westbrook Brewing Found on CNN’s Summer Radar

The Westbrook Brewing Company’s Gose beer was recently featured by CNN’s Eatocracy blog. The brew (pronounced “Gose-uh”) was included on the website’s list of “13 Beers for the Summer ’13.”

The blog said the drink is a “hazy, yellow ale that is surprisingly refreshing and usually a bit tart.”

So what exactly is Gose? Westbrook describes the beer as a “traditional German-style sour wheat beer brewed with coriander and salt.”
