Monday Brings the Unveiling of Darius Rucker Blvd
As previously mentioned, the old Coliseum Drive in North Charleston is no more as it has been renamed Darius Rucker Boulevard in honor of the local musician.
The official ceremony celebrating the name-change will take place on Monday, August 12th at the North Charleston Coliseum. It will be hosted by WEZL’s TJ Phillips and Ric Rush. The pair will broadcast the entire event live on 103.5 starting at 8 am. They will be joined by North Charleston Mayor Keith Summey, Beth Rucker, and of course, Darius Rucker himself.
