Thursday: Louie’s Kids Guest Chef Benefit Dinner

The 4th Annual Louie’s Kids Benefit Dinner will be held this Thursday at 6:30 pm at Circa 1886.

For this year’s dinner, Chef Marc Collins has invited Chef Ford Fry from Atlanta to collaborate on a five-course dinner paired with wines.

After dinner there will be a live auction will vacation packages and more. The event costs $80 per person, plus tax and gratuity.

Course 1: ricotta agnolotti / sweet corn / appalachian chanterelles / tarragon / humbolt fog prepared by Chef Ford Fry

Course 2: roasted fish “of the moment” / summer bean panzenella / toasted garlic vinaigrette / small tomatoes / flowering basil prepared by Chef Ford Fry

Course 3: Ashley Farms chicken breast/ mache/ roasted peanuts/ cauliflower/ radish/ sour peach gastrique prepared by Chef Marc Collins

Course 4: “1855” strip steak/ whole grain mustard grits/ grilled Mepkin Abbey mushrooms/ lemon dust/ haricot verts/ local honey demi glace/ paprika oil prepared by Chef Marc Collins
