A Welcome Deluge for the Holy City
With all the recent flooding downtown, the last thing you would think Charlestonians would want is another deluge, but that may change.
The Holy City is about to be soaked by a unique event that combines the elements of a flash mob, a water fight, live music and dance. That gathering will be called DELUGE and it will be held on Sunday, September 1st in Cannon Park starting at 4 pm.
DELUGE is a large, somewhat spontaneous water battle featuring a DJ, food vendors, and more. Plus, the first 200 participants will receive a free water blaster.
The event is recommended for those 18 and older. As the event nears, rules and further details will be announced on the official website.
