Hall-of-Famers from Charleston

The South Atlantic League, the Riverdogs’ division, has announced it’s 2012 Hall of Fame class and it has a lot of Charleston tie-ins. The inductees will be honored during the 53rd Annual South Atlantic League All-Star Game, which will be played on June 19, 2012, at Joseph Riley Park, here in the Holy City. Plus, two of the inductees are from the Riverdogs. Charleston Mayor Joseph P. Riley, Jr. and the team’s part-owner Bill Murray will be entering the Hall along with Carolyn McKee, who is from the Asheville Tourists organization. Congrats to Mayor Riley and the incomparable Bill Murray.
