BarCamp Charleston Returns Next Saturday

BarCamp Charleston, an “ad-hoc, user generated fUN-conference where attendees determine what will be presented,” returns to the Holy City for its fifth year on Saturday, November 16th.
Instead of a preselected panel of speakers, the conference includes break-out sessions, discussions, demos, and interaction among the attendees. The focus is on learning and sharing among the local techies, developers, designers, and entrepreneurs in attendance.
BarCamp will take place at the College of Charleston, beginning at 8:30 am. Attendees should sign in between 7 and 8 am at the Education Center on St. Phillip Street. You can see the entire schedule here.
There will also be parties to bookend the event. The Kick-Off Party will be on Friday, November 15th at Blue Ion on 301B King St. The fun begins at 6 pm. Meanwhile, the After Party will be at Mynt on the Saturday of the event beginning at 6 pm.
Admission is just $10 and includes a t-shirt and a swag bag.
