“Tasting Table” Does Charleston
Tasting Table, a food-and-drink culture website, chose Charleston as the latest city to profile in their “City Guides” feature. Each guide lists some of the top places to eat and drink within the featured city.
Tasting Table‘s Holy City recommendations include some popular tourist destinations (Husk, Hominy Grill), but also some lesser-known spots that are popular with locals (Xiao Bao Biscuit, Two Boroughs Larder) .
The website even compares Charleston to Tinseltown saying:
Charleston’s dining scene is sort of like Hollywood during its big-studio heyday: The culinary capital of the lowcountry is a small town that’s riveting a nation of diners starved for glamour, gossip and artistic achievement.
