2012 Slim Down the South Softball Challenge Preview

Slim Down the South will be holding its 2nd Annual Celebrity Softball Challenge on Saturday, August 4th at Joe Riley Park. The game will benefit Louie’s Kids, an organization that fights childhood obesity. Louie’s Kids started in Virginia in 2001, but has since relocated to the Holy City.

Last year Darius Rucker and Bill Murray served as game captains, but there is no word on their participation this year. Some celebrities have already committed and their names have been periodically released on Slim Down the South’s FB page (HERE).
