Cypress and Chef Craig Deihl Win Good Food Award
Back in November, Holy City Sinner let you now about two local businesses that were up for Good Food Awards in 2014. Well, HCS is happy to report that one of them – Cypress and their Chef Craig Deihl – won an award in the charcuterie category.
The winning dish was Chef Deihl’s Culatello, which is a type of prosciutto. Cypress and Chef Deihl have now won the charcuterie category fours years in a row. Their Picante Salami, Soppressata, and Cypressata previously took home the hardware.
The Good Food Awards “honor people who make food that is delicious, respectful of the environment, and connected to communities and cultural traditions.”
