Drum Island Clean-Up & Party Set for Saturday

Wounded Nature, a nonprofit organization that cleans rural beaches and estuaries on the East Coast, will host a clean-up event and party at Drum Island and the Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina this Saturday.

With the annual Cooper River Bridge Run looming, the organization is asking for volunteers to help clean Drum Island, which is located just under the Ravenel Bridge.

Anyone would like to help should meet at the Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina by 11 am. The after party for participants begins at 2 pm.
