Sweet Grass Music Festival Returns to Patriots Point

The Sweet Grass Music Festival will return to the Holy City for its second run on May 2nd and 3rd at Patriots Point in Mount Pleasant.

The music kicks-off at 2:30 pm on Friday and continues on until 10 pm that night. Each band is allowed to play a 90 minute set. Saturday starts things off at 11 am.

Here’s a look at the schedule:

Friday, May 2

• 2:30 pm – Subject to Change
• 4 pm – Common Ground
• 5:30 pm – Barefoot Movement
• 7 pm – Adkins and Loudermilk
• 8:30 pm – Lonesome River Band

Saturday, May 3

• 11 am – Common Ground
• 12 pm – Grass Cats
• 1 pm – Flatt Lonesome
• 2 pm – Nothin Fancy
• 3 pm – Russell Moore and IIIrd Tyme Out
• 4 pm – Grasstowne
• 5:30 pm – Grass Cats
• 6:30 pm – Flatt Lonesome
• 7:30 pm – Nothin Fancy
• 8:30 pm – Russell Moore and IIIrd Tyme Out

Friday tickets are $25 a piece, while Saturday tickets are $35 each. A special combo package runs $50 and includes admission on both days. Children under 12 are free. All tickets may be purchased here.

A portion of the festival’s proceeds will go to the non-profit Carolina Studios.
