Where the Wild Things Run Set for April 26th

The Caw Caw Interpretive Center will be transformed into a classic children’s book on April 26th. Beginning at 8:30 am, the county park will be home to the Where The Wild Things Run 5k.

Aside from the race, there will also be plenty of Where The Wild Things Are-themed children’s events.

Race registration costs $34 per person or $28 for Charleston County residents. You can register online or call (843) 795-4386. Online registration ends on April 25th with T-shirts guaranteed for those who register prior to April 19th.

Kids’ activities (ages 6-12) include:

• Wild Things Yoga: 8:30 am – 9:30am
  • Wild Things-inspired yoga class
• Wild Things Masks: 8:30 am, 9 am, 9:30 am, and 10 am
  • Kids create Wild Things monster masks
• Wild Things Track Casting: 8:30 am, 9 am, 9:30 am, and 10 am
  • Kids will make casts of Wild Things tracks
• Programs are free, but pre-registration is required.
