Wild Blue Ropes Opening Soon

In the very near future Charleston’s adventure-seekers will have a new playground. Wild Blue Ropes, the city’s first open-air adventure ropes course, is eying a grand opening sometime this spring on Folly Road in James Island.

The adventure park will have different course levels to accommodate all ages and skill levels with the tallest structure checking in at 35 feet. The entire compound includes 22 tower poles and a maze of suspended steps, ladders, bridges and other elements. Patrons will be able to relive their adventures by using the optional point of view video recorders.

Another aspect of Wild Blue that patrons may appreciate is that they have registered as a Benefit Corporation, which means they made a commitment to operate responsibly, be sustainable, and give back to the community.
