Redux Contemporary Art Center is preparing for a busy summer. The art gallery recently announced two exhibitions – Reorientation and Tease It Out – that will be on display in the coming weeks.

Reorientation is a group exhibition featuring four Redux artists, photographer Chloe Gilstrap, silversmith Kaminer Haislip, printmaker and painter Kate MacNeil, and printmaker Jane Ann Sweeny. The exhibit will give viewers a chance to more closely see what takes place within the gallery’s walls. It will be on display from July 7th until August 2nd.

To celebrate, there will be a free artists’ reception on Friday, July 11th from 6 pm until 9 pm. The Outta My Huevos food truck and Holy City Brewing will be on site.

Tease It Out by San Francisco artists Kate Nartker and Katey Crews will open with a free Artists’ Talk and reception on Friday, August 8th at 5:30 pm. Nartker reworks old family video into clips, stills, and weavings, while Crews creates woven works and sculptural objects featuring historic imagery.

The reception will feature beer from Holy City Brewing and food from Roti Rolls (tentatively). The exhibit will be on display from August 8th until September 27th.
