SNOS Stroll: Community Open House South of Spring

snos strollYou’ve probably heard of S.N.O.B. before, but what about S.N.O.S.? Playing off of the SNOB acronym, the SNOS (Slightly North of Spring) Stroll will take place on Saturday, July 12th from 4 pm until 7 pm.

The community open house will allow residents to see local businesses and services that are part of this up-and-coming section of the peninsula. All of the businesses are located around King Street between Spring and Congress Streets. The stroll will include food, drinks, presentations, specials and more.

The following businesses will be participating in the event (some have activities before and after the stroll’s scheduled times):

  • Twenty Six Divine
    • 11 am – 3 pm: Brunch/Lunch
    • 4 pm – 7 pm: Pig roast with all the fixings and live music.
  • Barsa
    • Happy hour specials
  • Butcher and Bee
    • Open for lunch (11 am – 3 pm) and late night (11 pm – 3 am)
  • Blue Heron Acupuncture and Apothecary
    • 12:30 pm: “Feel Good All Day: How to Eat for Optimum Energy” with Stephanie Burg, Holistic Health Coach
    • 1:30 pm – 3 pm: Acupuncture and Bowenwork Neurostructural Technique Demo Treatments
    • 4 pm – 7 pm: Open House and Art Reception with Jeanette Louise; sample Chinese herbal teas and tasty treats
  • Charleston Cycles Compost
  • Coastal Climbing
    • Indoor climbing gym with SNOS Stroll Special: $5 for one hour of climbing
  • High Wire Distilling Company
