For the second consecutive year, Condé Nast Traveler’s readers have voted Charleston the friendliest city in the United States. The designation was granted to the Holy City after the magazine tallied the results from their annual Readers’ Choice Survey.

The periodical had the following to say about Charleston’s first-place finish:

Several visitors praised this “quaint and special little gem” for embodying Southern hospitality at every turn—so much so that they “would consider living there full time.”

Savannah came in second place, while San Antonio can be found in the number 3 spot on the list. Nearby Asheville rounded out the top 10. To see the entire list, click here.

The Holy City is certainly no stranger to receiving honors from Conde Nast readers – you may remember that just last year theyvoted Charleston the top destination in the country and 5th best in the world.
