When it Floods in Charleston, Some Go Wakeboarding

Charlestonians always try to make the best of every situation, including the frequent flooding of downtown streets. While many of us use the flooding as an excuse to splash tourists as we drive past them, a few imaginative guys did something much cooler – they made a kick-ass video of themselves wake-boarding down the city streets.

I first saw the video on The Charleston City Paper’s website and it’s fantastic. Local filmmaker Adam Boozer shot footage of pro wakeboarders Wesley Mark Jacobson, Davey Blair, and Wes Huber enjoying the downtown floodwaters and then edited it together a video that you can view below.
