Charleston Symphony Orchestra Brings “Saltwater Sounds” to the Aquarium

scaquariumThis Saturday, the South Carolina Aquarium and the Charleston Symphony Orchestra are joining together for “Saltwater Sounds,” a special “oceanic voyage combining beautiful sights and sounds especially for children.”

During the event, children will be able to play some tunes in an Instrument Petting Zoo. They will be able to see, hear, and touch instruments with the help of professional musicians. There were also be performances by the Charleston Symphony Orchestra in front of the Aquarium’s Great Ocean Tank.

“Saltwater Sounds” Schedule:

  • 9:30 am: Instrument Petting Zoo
  • 10 am: Symphony performance in front of the Great Ocean Tank
  • 10:30 am: Instrument Petting Zoo
  • 11 am: Symphony performance in front of the Great Ocean Tank
  • 11:30 am: Instrument Petting Zoo
