City Carriage Industry Hosts Inaugural Carriage Day this Saturday

This Saturday from noon until 5 pm, the Charleston Carriage Industry will host its inaugural Carriage Day Block Party. The event will be held at the corner of North Market Street and Anson Street.
Attendees will be able to learn all about the city’s horse carriage industry, tour all five companies’ barns, feed treats to the animals, and ask staff questions.
During the event, food, vendors, and exhibits will be available in the Rainbow Market parking lot. A portion of the profits made from this part of the event will be donated to LEARN Horse Rescue, an organization that helps rehabilitate and re-home abused and neglected horses.
