Pastry Chef Kelly Kleisner to Teach Candy-Making Class at Southern Season

On Tuesday, October 7th, Kelly Kleisner, the pastry chef at Oak Steakhouse and The Macintosh, will teach a candy-making class at Southern Season in Mount Pleasant.

The class, “Go Sweet on Indigo Road,” will start at 6 pm and will include lessons in carmelization and confectionery making. Participants will be making a classic fall treat – the candy apple.

Chef Kleisner has been with Oak Steakhouse and The Macintosh (both part of the Indigo Road Restaurant Group) since July 2013 and has more than 15 years of culinary experience. She previously worked as the pastry chef at The Ocean Room and Fat Hen.
