Girls Rock! Charleston’s Next Showcase Will Be Held at Redux
Girls Rock! Charleston (GRC), a local non-profit organization, will host a volunteer & supporter showcase on Saturday, October 18th from 7 pm until 10 pm.
The fundraising event, which will be held at the Redux Contemporary Art Center, will feature live performances from eight bands that are completely made up of GRC volunteers and supporters.
In addition to the music performances, the event will also include a silent auction and beer from Holy City Brewing. The event is open to all ages. Admission is a sliding scale donation of $5-$15 at the door. For more information on the event, visit GRC’s official webpage.
GRC tries to empower girls and transgender youth through music education, DIY media, and creative collaboration.
