Sunday at New Moon: Oyster Roast Benefitting the Lowcountry Food Bank

This Sunday, New Moon Pizzeria & Pub in Johns Island will host an Oyster Roast benefitting the Lowcountry Food Bank.

Any attendee that brings 6 canned items will receive a free bucket of oysters (limit one per person). The Lowcountry Food Bank says the following items are needed the most: rice, tuna, grits, cereal, oatmeal, peanut butter, dried or canned beans, canned fruits and vegetables, diapers, and personal hygiene products.

The Oyster Roast will feature live music from The Shutter Dogs, local beers, kids activities, and TVs showing the day’s NFL games. The roast will run from noon until 6 pm.
