CARTA Offering Free Service Between Charleston & Mount Pleasant on Dec. 13th
On Saturday, December 13th, CARTA will be offering a free service between Charleston and Mount Pleasant. The company’s Mount Pleasant Route 41, which includes stops at the downtown Charleston Visitor Center, Patriots Point, Mount Pleasant Waterfront Park, Shem Creek, Houston Northcutt Blvd, Sea Island Shopping Center, and more, will be gratis on that date.
Once on board, riders will receive special offers from dozens of local merchants, the chance at more than $1,000 in prizes, and live music. Buses run from 8:30 am until 8 pm. You can see the full schedule here.
To board, just pick up a free Jingle Bus pass at participating local retailers, have them stamp it, then drop it in the fare box on December 13th. For more information, visit CARTA’s website.
