Oyster Roast Benefiting The Green Heart Project Scheduled for 1/31/15

The Charitable Society of Charleston’s annual Oyster Roast benefiting The Green Heart Project will be hosted at the Visitor Center Bus Shed on Saturday, January 31st at 7 pm.

Tickets are $35 if purchased in advance or $40 at the door and include:

• Admission
• Oysters
• Beer and wine
• Hot dogs
• Chili
• Live music from Dan’s Tramp Stamp

In its 22 year history, the Charitable Society has raised over $1,000,000 to support local groups who promote community wellness and serve children, the elderly, or individuals with special needs. The Green Heart Project, which is the beneficiary of the oyster roast, builds urban gardens and farm-to-school programs in the Charleston area.
