Groundhog Day Benefit Concert Returns to the Music Hall

GHD-colors-2015-II-726x1024The Charleston Music Hall will once again host its Groundhog Day Concert benefiting the Halsey Institute of Contemporary Art. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, January 31st, 2015 at 8 pm.

The concert will feature music by The Opposite of a Train (Bill Carson, Nathan Koci, and Ron Wiltrout), Owen Beverly, Jack Burg, John Cobb, Michael Flynn, Clint Fore, Joel Hamilton, Kevin Hamilton, Rachel Kate Gillon, Jonathan Gray, Mark Sterbank, and Stephanie Underhill. There will also be a special guest performance from “Mr. Bonetangles” puppeteer Will Schutze.

Ticket prices range from $15 for students to $50 for a VIP package that includes premium seating, a hand-printed poster designed by Gil Shuler, and an invitation to an on-stage after party.

Ticket sales benefit the Halsey Institute’s programming and are available at the Charleston Music Hall’s box office (37 John Street) and online.
