Bay Street Biergarten to host “Doggies for Anthony” Yappy Hour on 1/14
No word on if The Citadel Bulldog will be in attendance
On Wednesday, January 14th, Bay St. Biergarten will welcome area dog lovers to the restaurant in order to bring a smile to the face of Anthony Lyons, a 16-year old undergoing treatment for leukemia. Attendees are encouraged to bring their pups to the patio for a “Doggies for Anthony” Yappy Hour celebration.
“Doggies for Anthony” is a Facebook group where people post photos of their dogs to help the teen cope with his chemotherapy between visits from therapy dogs.
Professional photographer Marie Rodriguez will at the Biergarten to take high quality pictures of all the dogs for Anthony.
The event is free to attend. All dogs must be on a leash and play well with others. For more information, visit the Facebook event page.
