The Next SoCal Block Party is Friday

This Friday, a group of King Street restaurants and bars located south of Calhoun Street (SoCal) will host their fifth event. The businesses, along with New Belgium Brewing, will kick off the festivities at 9 pm.

Participating venues (and their specials) include:

• Boone’s
  • Live music from Undercover Brother
  • New Belgium Beer Available: Snapshot Wheat
• Kickin’ Chicken
  • Howard Dlugasch
• King Street Grille
  • New Belgium Beers Available: Fat Tire Ale and Ranger IPA
• Mellow Mushroom
  • Live music by The Tom and John Show featuring John Berry of South Street
  • New Belgium Beers Available: Portage Porter, Snapshot Wheat, and Slow Ride IPA
• Upper Deck Tavern
  • DJ
  • New Belgium Beers Available: Fat Tire Ale and Ranger IPA

A $1 from each New Belgium beer sold will go to Charleston Moves. Plus, each bar will hold a raffle at 12:30 am.

There is no admission cost for the event.
