7th Annual Captain’s Comic Expo is this Weekend

It may not be Comic-Con, but Captain’s Comic Expo is definitely the best event for local comic fans.

The 7th Annual Expo begins tomorrow at the Omar Shrine Lodge in Mount Pleasant and will pick back up on Sunday. Here’s a quick look at this year’s schedule:

Saturday, March 7th

• 10 am until 6 pm
• Kids Costume Parade
• “Drink-and-Draw” with the price of all art sold going to benefit the Lowcountry Orphan Relief
• Art Classes
• Panels
• After Party at Redux Contemporary

Sunday, March 8th

• Noon until 6 pm
• Adult Costume Contest with prizes
• Art classes
• Trivia

The event will include guests, over 100,000+ comics, pop art, toys, costumes, and more. A full schedule can be seen here.
