RiverDogs Announce 2015 Promos & Specials

With the start of the 2015 baseball season just a few weeks away, the Charleston RiverDogs have drummed up some excitement by announcing this year’s promotions and specials. Besides the action the field, here are some of the things fans can enjoy this year at  Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park:

• Mondays
  • “Dollar Dogs and Dollar Beer Mondays”
    • $1 hot dogs and $1 beers in the Ashley View Pub located above the third base line.
• Tuesdays
  • “Tuesday Date Night”
  • Fans can purchase two game tickets, two tacos, two small fountain drinks, and a plate of nachos for $20..
• Wednesdays
  • “Senior Wednesdays”
  • Seniors (65 and older) eat free between the hours of 6 – 7 pm. They will receive a complimentary hot dog, soda, and chips
  • The team will also incorporate special senior awareness initiatives
• Thursdays
  • “Budweiser Thirsty Thursday”
  • Music from DJ Natty Heavy and $1 beers in the Ashley View Pub above the third base line.
• Fridays
  • “Red Shirt Fridays”
    • All fans who wear red shirts to the game will save $1 off the purchase of their ticket at the box office. F
    • Players will wear red jerseys
  • “Titus the Wonder Dog”
    • Titus, a pup from Canines for Veterans, will serve as “batboy”
• Saturdays
  • “Family Time”
    • All games start at 6:05 pm
    • Giveaways to the first 1,000 fans on selected dates
    • This year’s freebies include:
      • April 25th: Bill Murray “Tune Squad” jersey giveaway
      • May 16th: Fanny pack giveaway
      • June 20th: Negro League’s Larry Doby Newark Eagles replica jersey giveaway
      • July 11th: Military Heroes Baseball Card set giveaway
      • August 22nd: Bobble Boobs giveaway – supports Breast Cancer Awareness
  • Kids can run the bases after each Saturday game
• Sundays
  • “Kids Club Sundays”
    • Free parking
    • All RiverDogs Kids Club members get into the game for free
    • All kids who go to the game are given a voucher for a free meal
    • Pregame catch on the field
    • “Reading with the RiverDogs”
    • Postgame autograph session with the entire RiverDogs team and mascots
