Mellow Mushroom on King Street Will Open at 8 am for Their Bridge Run Party

On Saturday, March 28th, Mellow Mushroom on King Street will open at 8 am for their Cooper River Bridge Run Party. The event will include live music, drink and food specials, and strips of bacon for the runners passing by the restaurant.

Although doors open at 8 am so you can watch the race, the actual food service will begin at 9 am. That’s when Mellow will start serving their breakfast pizzas (available until 3 pm).

The breakfast pizzas include:

• Chorizo and Avocado
  • Made with spicy Legare Farms beef chorizo, mozzarella and cheddar cheeses, avocado, sour cream, green peppers, diced tomatoes, and fresh Legare Farm eggs
• Eggy & Leggy
  • Made with an olive oil and garlic base, Boar’s Head pancetta, sunny side up Legare Farm eggs, scallions, and cracked black pepper.

The restaurant will also offer $3 mimosas, $3 SweetWater drafts, and $5 Bloody Marys.

Starting at 9 am, Chris Dodson will be performing on the rooftop patio.
