Fly to the Lowcountry Wingapalooza on April 24th
The 4th Annual Lowcountry Wingapalooza, a chicken wing competition between local restaurants will be held on Friday, April 24th from 7 pm to 10:30 pm at the Visitor Center Bus Shed. The event will raise money for Eagle Harbor Ranch.
During Wingapalooza, well-known restaurants will offer samplings to attendees, who will then help a guest panel of local judges choose the Best Wings in Charleston. That guest panel will also vote in categories like “Best Hot Wing,” “Best Fried Wing,” and “Best Smoked Wing.”

- The Kickin’ Chicken
- Bohemian Bull
- Queology
- Midtown Bar and Grill
- New Moon Pizzeria
- Paisano’s Pizza Grill
- Melvin’s Barbecue
- Loophole (Formerly New Moon Pizzeria)
- East Coast Wings
- The Rusty Rudder
- Smoke Food Truck.
Attendees can also expect:
- Live music from Bootless
- A mechanical bull
- Kings of Pops
- A hot wing eating contest
- A live auction hosted by News 2’s Rob Fowler
- Beer, wine, and Coca Cola products
- All beverages are sold separately.
Advanced tickets are $20 and can be purchased on the Wingapalooza website ($25 at the door). The Visitor Center Bus Shed is located at 375 Meeting Street.
Eagle Harbor Ranch is a non-profit home for abused, neglected, and abandoned boys located in Summerville.
