I am praying for everyone at AME Church. I do not have money but I would like to send cards to the survivors (I understand there are 3 in the hospital) or send cards to family members of the victims. Maybe my readers could send cards too. Where should we send cards?
    Thanks in advance,
    Jessica

That’s very kind of you, Jessica. It seems, for privacy reasons, the survivors have not been identified publicly. The best thing to do is send any card (maybe with a letter stating who they are for) to the church itself at 110 Calhoun Street.

Could we get the email address to send condolences, please?
Thanks and may God use this incident to turn people to him.

I want to say how much I admire you for your faith. What you are doing will get more accomplished between blacks and whites than all of the riots in the world. I believe what you are doing will go down in history as the turning point in between blacks and whites. I truly believe that we have to stop hating and start loving everyone. I am so sorry for your loss and will be praying for all the families and your church. Please keep up the good work you are doing. I look forward to the day when blacks and whites all work together along with all of the other races. I believe that if we get God back in our lives that all can be accomplished. I think this is what Martin Luther King wanted for all of us.

I admire you for your faith during this tragic time. I am so sorry for the loss to your church and the families involved. I believe that this will go down in history as the turning point between blacks and whites. We need to start loving each other rather than hating each other. I look forward to the day when we can all get along and live in peace. I think we all need to reject violence and those who prey upon our fears. There is no place for violence whether it be black or white. I think this is what Martin Luther King Jr. Wanted. He had the right idea. I love all of you. May God give you peace.
