The 10th Taking Flight Comic Book Show Will Be Held at The Sparrow on 7/18

On Saturday, July 18th, Park Circle Comics and The Sparrow are once again joining forces to host the Taking Flight Comic Book Show.

The tenth edition of this event will feature meet and greets with artists, comics for sale, drink specials, and more. The show will be at the Park Circle bar from noon until 5 pm this Saturday.

Check-out the guest rundown:

• Albert Captain from Apartment A Comics
• Mia Chavi Jenkins-MuCulley from MiaChavi Geekery
• James A. McCulley
• Artists from Run Riot Media including writer Hart Jeffers, artist Tony Mingacci, and letterer Steve Stegelin
  • They will be showing off their new comic, SOL, a story about odd couple Jane and Helen and their adventures becoming people in the 22nd century world that wants to kill them

The show is free, but there is a suggested donation of $5 at the door. The proceeds will benefit The Ronald McDonald House of Charleston. In addtion, Holy City Brewing will donate all sales from a select keg of beer to the same charity.
