Registration Open for 16th Annual Race for the ARK
Registration is now open for the 16th annual Thrivent Financial Race for the ARK in Summerville. The race is scheduled for Saturday, August 22nd and will begin at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church.
The ARK is a local nonprofit that provides comprehensive support services to families living with Alzheimer’s or related dementia.
The race includes a 5K run/walk that starts at 7:45 am and 1-mile fun run that begins at 8:45 am.
Registration runs trough August 20th and costs $30 (with T-shirt) for the 5K run/walk or $25 (without T-shirt). Registration is $10, or $30 for a family of four (without t-shirts), for the 1-mile fun run.
Awards will be given to the top three overall male and female winners as well as in several age groups. Plus, $100 will awarded to the first male and female to break the course records (15:40 male and 17:51 female).
