Oktoberfest 5K Run/Walk Hits the Pavement on 9/26

On Saturday, September 26th, the starting gun will sound at 9 am for the latest edition of the Oktoberfest 5K Run-Walk. This year’s race will be held at the Laurel Hill Plantation in Mt. Pleasant.

Registration prices are as follows:

• $25 Until September 16, 2015. $30 after September 16th. $35 Day of the race.
• $10 for a basic cotton T-shirt or $15 for performance T-shirt.
• Fees include beer and food at the post-race party

The post-race party will also include live German music, a raffle, a costume contest, and more. Plus, awards will also be given out to some of the top runners.

The race benefits the Rotary Happy Feet program and Toys for Tots Bikes. Last year, race organizers delivered 200 pairs of shoes and more than 100 bikes to children in need on Christmas.
