Oktoberfest Returns to Charleston on September 18th
Charleston Oktoberfest, the Holy City’s annual celebration of German culture, food, and beer, returns on Friday, September 18th at 7 pm.
This year’s party will once again be held at the Visitor Center Bus Shed on Ann Street and will include authentic German food, games, beer, and upbeat polka music.
The festival is sponsored by Sam Adams so guests can expect several beer-tasting tents from the Boston Brewery.
Festival-goers will be able to enjoy entertainment like keg bowling, a costume contest, stein-hoisting, and cornhole.
This year, the event will also include a VIP Biergarten featuring samples of Sam Adams specialty brews, craft beers, and one-offs that can not be sampled or purchased in any restaurant or store. VIP access also includes catered food by The Loophole and a private restroom.
