“A Very Murray Christmas” Coming to Netflix in December
Earlier today, Netflix announced that a Christmas special starring Charleston resident Bill Murray will debut on the media-streaming website this winter.
A Very Murray Christmas, an all-star, musically-driven holiday special set inside New York City’s iconic Carlyle hotel, will debut on December 4th. The project, which was directed by Sofia Coppola, will feature some big names like George Clooney, Miley Cyrus, Chris Rock, Amy Poehler, Jason Schwartzman, Michael Cera, and more.
According to Netflix, the special begins with Murray preparing to host a live holiday broadcast during a blizzard. After the storm shuts down the production, he tries to make the best of the situation by singing and celebrating with friends, hotel employees, and other special guests.
