Party For the Parks Returns on Nov. 14
This year’s Party for the Parks celebration will be held in Cannon Park on Saturday, November 14th at 6 pm. The event is a street-fair styled party benefiting the Charleston Parks Conservancy.
New this year, the Conservancy has teamed up with the Charleston-based Bidr for advance bidding on auction items. The auction is already open and can be seen here. Anyone can bid on the auction items, which include vacation getaways, private chef dinners, event tickets, and gift certificates. The auction will close the day of the event at 8:30 p.m.
The party will feature:
- Food from some of Charleston’s best restaurants and caterers
- An open bar with beer and wine
- Specialty cocktails provided by The Americano, The Cocktail Club, and 44° North Vodka
- Live music
- The Bushels
- Palmetto Mobile Entertainment
- Malandro Soul
- Performances
- Breakdancing
- Fire performances
- An aerialist
Tickets for the event are $85 and include food, the open bar, and entertainment. A VIP ticket is available for $200 and includes access to a VIP tent with food and a specialty lavender martini cocktail from Magnolias/Blossom/Cypress restaurants, Cirsea Ice Cream and Cacao’s Artisan Chocolate and special entertainment by puppeteer Will Schutze and his marionette Mr. Bonetangles. Proceeds from Party for the Parks benefit the Charleston Parks Conservancy, a nonprofit organization dedicated to connecting people to their parks as well as revitalizing and invigorating Charleston’s public parks and green spaces.
