492 Launches New Winter Menu
Recently, popular King Street restaurant 492 launched a new winter menu, featuring some seasonally-influenced dishes.
Here are the menu additions, broken up category:
- “From the Sea”
- The Daily Catch Dish is now Cobia ($26)
- Served with butternut squash, amaranth polenta, and lime
- Seared Day Boat Scallops entrée (right, $29)
- Served with cauliflower, granola, and a caper-apricot emulsion

- “From the Land”
- Beef short rib ($24)
- Served with shallots, smoked white bean puree, and apple cider jus
- Lamb pave ($28)
- Served with golden beets, fingerlings, and green olives

- Dark ginger cake with roasted pineapple, white chocolate and miso
- Chocolate napoleon with smoked mascarpone, Frangelico, and maple.
492 is open seven days a week, Sunday through Wednesday from 5 pm to 10 pm and Thursday through Saturday from 5 pm to 11 pm.
